IMHO this is the crisis of the two parties; either or both could self-destruct.RINOs could blow up the R party; Blexit could blow up the Democrat Party.
If impeachment goes to the McConnell-controlled Senate, Trump will be given a fair trial - meaning, there will have to be actual charges of malfeasance against him, and he will be represented at the trial in the Senate. And that, IMHO, will deliver a body blow to the Schiff Star Chamber. No Republican Senator will have any more reason to vote to convict Trump than they did to refuse to confirm Kavanaugh.
