I’ll answer both Kit and Hugh with this experience of my own with second hand vaping smoke....

I only smoked one cigarette only in my life...I was 9 and my 12 yo cousin brought a pack with her to the forest behind our homes..There was about 8 kids there that day and she handed us all a cigarette and lit them...the others thought we were big and grownup as she taught us to inhale but and I thought the stuff tasted horrible ..I threw up and other kids some younger than me, laughed at me...

I never smoked when I was older and now at 71, I have enjoyed good health most of my life.., I am about to go to the gym where I will do about 30 minutes on the treadmill at 3.0 (no hands) and work on other machines..I also ride a bicycle in the park..I don’t have any heart or lung problems at all and my vitals are usually good..

However I try to avoid cigarette smoke as it makes me gag etc..and its not good for me..

Now, about vaping...a few mouths ago I was walking down the street when I saw ahead of me, a man coming towards me...he had a vaping stick in his mouth and a large strange cloud around him and trailing behind him...there was no avoiding the “vaper” it was everywhere across the sidewalk...I had to walk into it to go through it...

Thinking it was just water vaper etc, I had no concern before I reached the cloud...BUT.. while I was in it I gabbed much more than I ever have with cigarette smoke and I was sick to my stomach and my chest hurt and I was dizzy...I didn’t throw up but I was adversely effected for some minutes after...even that one and only part of a cigarette long ago did not make me feel that bad...

Don’t try to convince me that vaping is harmless and that secondhand smoke has no effect on children or old people...If I had been on oxygen or had other illnesses I would have been in trouble that day...

For me secondhand smoke from vaping is much worse than from cigarettes...

and I’m not ill...just imagine the effect on people who are ill...
