Raw turkey giblets and turkey neck. For the neck, though, I firmly grip it, to encourage chewing and grinding rather than swallowing.

It is, on occasion and for reasons opposite from yours, advisable to grip the neck firmly, but what do I know about who does what under the table.
She probably could type if she tried using her claws instead of her chin. Is that what the bottom half of a dog's jaw is called? A chin?

Most of the list is a no-go for cats year-round, not just Thanksgiving. Honestly, any “people” food that isn’t meat protein and fat is a waste for them.
They always limit these articles to dogs and cats. I have a houseful of rescued parrots and cockatoos, and millions of other people have pet birds that are never mentioned. Parrots love table snacks like crackers and cornbread, but there are some things you should NEVER give them, particularly chocolate and avocado, both of which can kill them.
Also, if you have any pet birds, NEVER use cookware with chemical non-stick coatings like Teflon. If they get to a certain temperature, they emit a gas that can kill birds within minutes, just like canaries in a coal mine.
If you know anyone with pet birds, please share this. I know people who’ve lost beloved family pets for these very reasons.
My brother occasionally put a cooked egg on his dog’s food. Said it made her coat shiny.
Most of the list is commonly known foods that are problematic for dogs. I’m an old softie who loves his dogs a little too much though, I always give them at least a little taste of what I’m having unless it’s chocolate, onions, garlic, grapes or raisins. Mine have always lived long lives, even my Lab that had cancer lived to almost 15. I think a lot of this “human food is bad for dogs” comes from the pet food industry. Dogs in my childhood and earlier survived almost solely off of table scraps and appeared in some ways to be healthier than modern dogs.

In the dog world, chihuahua is Mexican for Snack.
Feed the dog turkey and only turkey. He will love you for it.
