Chick-fil-As announcement that it was dumping the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which have come under attack by gay activist groups, caught Christian fans of the fast food chain by surprise. It shouldnt have if they had been paying attention to CFAs corporate structure.
The donations were coming out of the Chick-fil-A Foundation. The Executive Director of the CFA Foundation is Rodney D. Bullard, a former White House fellow and Assistant US Attorney. Some may have mistaken him for a conservative because he was a fellow in the Bush Administration, but he was an Obama donor, and, more recently, had donated to Hillary Clintons campaign while at Chick-fil-A.
Like many corporations, Chick-fil-A branded its charitable giving as a form of social responsibility. Bullard became its Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility. Unlike charity, corporate social responsibility is a leftist endeavor to transform corporations into the political arms of radical causes. Like other formerly conservative corporations, Chick-fil-A had made the fundamental error of adopting the language and the infrastructure of its leftist peers. And that made what happened entirely inevitable...

Like putting Russell Moore in a leadership position at the SBC.
So they caved...
did you all notice how this same wicked man is on the board of FCA and the Salvation Army?? They are ALL letting the devil in. My husband and I are VERY plugged into FCA in FLA. They better do some internal soul searching (just like the others) or they’ll lose alot more than CFA donations.
Never again... Even though I clearly understand that they could care less about my boycott that leads to about a $40 per month drop in their zillion-dollar gross sales income...
Like I said about Target... "Absolutely never freaking again!"
oh yes it did. Read the articles, they’re walking from the Christian orgs and giving specifically to SJW’s
So some musical wanker went to get some food?
Well, good for him. What is that supposed to prove?
Thank you for the well reasoned advice.
perfect response. Humblegunner is a non believer that’s full of himself and since he’s bored beyond believe, he has to come on these threads and try to prove us wrong and himself right....sad guy
I may be many things, Jack...
But I'm not afraid to address the people I talk crap about.
Like you just did.
Like a cowardly ickle weasel.
and yet...there you are
I shouldn’t have said anything negative about you. In person you’re probably a great guy. This is just a sensitive subject to many of us to see the small amount of companies that are devoted to Christian values get even smaller.
Please accept my apology.
The LGBTQ bullies *demanded* that U stop contributing to 2 Christian charities, annnndd....Chick-fil-A stopped. But you say you didn't cave? Right.
My family used to go our of our way for Chick-fil-A. For us, you were the corporation with conviction.
Now..you 're just chicken.
I would love to try an In n Out Burger. I live too far away from all locations.
Being a big fan of “Clockwork Orange”, I will never even think of eating at an “In and Out Burger”.
the Salvation Army put out a statement that they have been told they are off the payroll. So what is being misconstrued?
I’m with you Mrs. Don-o
“Thank you again for taking the time to share your comments and concerns with us. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you in one of our restaurants soon.”
I hope you reinstate Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, so I can go to my local Chick-fil-A in good conscience soon. Meanwhile there’s a Popeyes right across the street.
If abandoning SA and FCA bothers me, an agnostic, imagine how much it bothers faithful Christians! I don’t have to. I see a LOT of posts on line.
Maybe you should VERY seriously consider getting in front of this push back and anger. Your core customer base isn’t the 1-2% of the LGBT community who wouldn’t be caught dead in a CFA no matter how much you bend over.
Regards,
Your former loyal customer,

This is likely a prep to take the company public.
It’s all about the money.
