If Tesla can deliver, I bet their CyberTruck will be a winner. I definitely want one. $100 deposit on its way.

I ordered a dual motor AWD one. 300 plus miles on a charge. 4.5 sec 0-60. I wonder how long to charge from empty at a supercharger?

I don’t believe they can do both 500miles and tow 14,000lbs at the same time.

Ugh, so UGLY!!!!! And the company that already has to try to hide how weak it's drive-trains are, and is constantly struggling to meet existing component demand, is now branching out to this monstrosity? Yah, that's just BRILLIANT! You would have to be insane to consider one of these for actual use out here in the Nevada desert. I looked at the specs, not impressed. Who buys this trash? For the cost of one of these I could have my pick of any other off-road vehicle in the world, and probably two or three of most of them*, or a warehouse of spare parts. *Okay, maybe not two LMOO2's

Looks like with the newest supercharger about 45 minutes. Around 7 miles per minute if my calculations are correct. Just time for a quick bite to eat while charging.

Anybody who has ever used a truck will see that the slanted side rails on the bed are ridiculously stupid. You need to be able to access the bed from the sides. They create a blind spot big enough to hide the QE2.
Function is sacrificed for a cool looking profile.

Figuring on a 175 kwh battery and a residential electricity rate of .092 per kwh for Reno, Nevada that equals about $16. A Ram 1500 with the 6 cylinder engine gets 19 city and 24 hwy. So to go the same distance would cost at least $50 in fuel. Low maintenance. Some estimates are that Tesla batteries should be able to go 500,000 miles with 80% capacity.

I think it takes the same time to charge to 80% as it does to charge the last 20%.

Most people never drive their trucks out of town. Like ranchers and rural folks.
The limitations are actually a virtue for them.

I chuckle at all the new trucks on the road where I live and the rear beds are all empty with no scratches in them.

Most people never drive their trucks out of town. They use them to get their groceries or to carry the fake fire log they bought at Home Depot or to pick up nail polish for their wife.
These Hollywood pictures are useless. They need a video showing how to make it turn from an ugly car into an ugly truck. Drive it over 5 foot piles of rocks, splashing through mud a foot deep, and pulling a trailer with 25 sheets of 5/8" drywall.
