This is a minor short lived shower, something like an hour. Perseids—if I recall—can be seen over several nights.
To me, a short definite period of time is an attractive thing. Go out, watch for 45 minutes, its over, go inside and get warm again. You don’t have to wait all night hoping for a flurry of meteors.
I saw 3 meteors one night several years ago. That was the most I ever saw at one time. I don’t remember if it was associated with a particular shower. I saw a Taurid a about 10 days ago.
I do not live in a dark area and its predicted to be cloudy tonight. Not certain if I will be outside tonight. If clear, I will give it a try. Otherwise I will probably view it online.

Actually I miscalculated and you’ll see more meteors in this shower per hour. Anyway, I saw three meteors not just in the same night, but shooting in formation together. It was just one of those random times you look up at the sky.
