Syracuse University's chancellor says reports that a white supremacist manifesto was sent to some students' cellphones at a campus library "was probably a hoax."
Kent Syverud told the University Senate Wednesday authorities haven't found anyone who directly received the screed, which had seemed to further a series of racist episodes on the central New York campus.

Surely these phony messages can be traced, and the perpetrators should be arrested for filing a false police report.
Did not they also restrict frats there too due to some supposed name-calling? That is probably a hoax too.
yep supposedly some frat members yelled ethnic slurs from their fraternity house at some “african-american” female walking the grounds. other “african-american” students can vouch for this event.
