On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s special coverage of the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment inquiry, “Deadline” host Nicolle Wallace discussed the European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s testimony.
She continued, “The bombshell there was no irregular policy channel. There was the channel. It was run by Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, the secretary of state. That channel directed an extortion of the government, the country of Ukraine, in exchange for dirt on Joe Biden — full stop.”

When it said “host Nicolle Wallace”, I thought it said, hostile Nicolle Wallace.
The probe into Burmisma corruption is underway. Ukraine has widened its investigation of the founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, to include suspicion of embezzling state funds, tax violations, and money-laundering. According to Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka, he used his official position to embezzle 800 million hryvnias ($33 million) of money belonging to the central bank. Zlochevsky has recently disappeared.
