When they go out in front of the cameras and lambaste Schitt for his disgraceful farce of an "impeachment inquiry," they then immediately pivot into a public statement along these lines:
"It's time for this Congress to get back to the business of our constituents -- like [health care, drug prices, infrastructure, trade policy, etc.]."
Congress isn't going to get anything substantive done before November 2020. Right now the GOP has to just stand there and hammer it home to their constituents that it's all the fault of the Democrats and their sore loser supporters.
