Deks is right. Carelessness or not understanding WTH is not
allowed will not be an excuse when it comes to fines and threats to our FR existence.
I don’t know if it was a third forbidden cartoonist that got my toons deleted. I’m thinking that the image in the second post that was deleted and killed me off came from twitter or another thread on the forum..because I’ve never been on that forbidden-to-post-from website..(post-gazette)..which is even scarier because it came third party.
If we try to self-police, though, The abuse-button-pusher needs to also post why they did it. Otherwise, we’ll never know what it was or why, and we need to learn.

I’m in remedial class on my devices, but what stood out to me was the Admin Moderator advice to look at the *Publisher”, [behind all these links to popular writers and graphic artists who bear all the notoriety].
The Publisher matters when establishing Copyright risk More than the simple product or even the creator of the actual material, I take it. Right?

I wasn’t there to see what you posted, but it does look like cartoons will need scrutiny of the fine print where they are signed in the corner with the © symbol (photos too)
Although it’s fun to have them appear on the the thread, they might need to be linked only.
If in doubt about copyright you could give a shout out here first... and I know the gang would be happy to have a quick parley with you to track down the item’s source before it is posted.
