Penn State, Minnesota, and Baylor have made things clearer the last two weeks. But UGa at Number4? Hmm....
Not surprised by Bama at number 5.
O-H
AppState(my alma mater) being ahead of Virginia Tech(faculty) is my happy place.
Has OState played a ranked opponent?
giggle. USC 7-4, is at #23
#12 Wisconsin and #19 Cincinnati
The link doesn’t seem to be working. Can someone tell me where Navy dropped to?
Yes, Michigan State and Wisconsin.
Yeah, UGA didn’t exactly impress beating a very good Auburn team. They hung on to win, but did not excel.

Clemson has beaten 4 top 25 teams including #10 Auburn non conference. I’m surprised OSU is still ranked so high. They’ve played the weakest schedule by far of any of the top teams.

But they did dominate the game for 42 out of 48 minutes, like no other team has done to Auburn this year,
It would be interesting to see where Ohio State would rank if they played someone other than mediocre high school teams. The “Big 10” is a standing joke, but will always be overrated because it’s a vast Midwest media market with tons of viewers. Follow the money.
>>Can someone tell me where Navy dropped to?<<
Navy dropped out of the top 25 on this football playoff ranking. Haven’t seen the AP or Coaches’ polls, but suspect they may be similar.
Navy has a tough few weeks to wrap up the season, however, I won’t be disappointed if they don’t win the AAC West division or go to the conference championship game. Would rather they have the extra week to rest & practice to Beat Army!
When did they play Auburn? I looked at their results on ESPN, they played Texas A&M, but not Auburn.
Do they only keep track of the top 25, or is there a master list somewhere of ALL college football rankings?
“giggle. USC 7-4, is at #23”
How the hell can a mediocre 4-loss team even be ranked in the top 25? USC has always enjoyed hype over substance. The only time USC really had a great team was in 1972, but that indeed was a powerful team.
The closest would be the Sagarin rankings. How accurate are they, I don’t know. They can’t be any less accurate than the sportswriters or coaches poll.
