I thought 'Snapfinger' was such an odd name, I had to look it up:

SNAPFINGER CREEK, DeKalb County. An undocumented story relates that when DeKalb County was being surveyed, one of the surveyors Spaniard Mountain 208 Georgia Place-Names tripped at the edge of an unnamed creek and broke his finger. Because he "snapped" his finger, the creek became known as Snapfinger Creek. Brinkley declares the name of the stream was adopted because it is a "branch" or "finger" of Snapping Shoals Creek. Union general, George Stoneman was involved in a skirmish by this stream July 27, 1864. The stream name has also been applied to the community of SNAPFINGER and also to SNAPFINGERROAD in the South Decatur area.

Maybe some of the middle schoolers didn’t pay for their Dime Bags of marijuana or other. Maybe they thought they would be safe on a bus surrounded by fellow students. They were not safe.

Even if this was race related; Black kids attack bus full of White students.” That would still be an uncommon way of expressing their racism. They might just tell the driver to turn around. Strange case indeed. I hope, not a precedent to copycat crimes.

I’m familiar with this part of metro Atlanta. Interestingly, when Bezos had everyone bending over and grabbing their ankles for his campus, a newly incorporated city, Stonecrest, was willing to change its name to, Amazon, in an attempt to lure Bezos and all his liberal hipster workers. While not knowing the exact location of the incident, it’s very close to Stonecrest/Amazon.

I digress. Again, knowing the area and the demographics, I’m betting that at least one person, if not many more, related to some of the elementary school students that were attacked, has dome some time in a Georgia Correctional facility. And I doubt they’ll have a problem going back if they get their hands on the kids that got on that bus and attacked their son, brother, nephew, etc.
