"Several" dead and multiple others injured after shooting at Fresno home

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — "Several" people are dead and multiple others injured after a shooting in South Fresno.

The shooting happened around 7 o'clock Sunday evening on Lamona Avenue, near Sandau Avenue. That is in the area of Peach and Olive Avenues.

Police say that a family gathering was taking place at the home and multiple people were in the backyard watching a football game.

An unknown suspect came into the backyard of the home and began firing...

Obviously the answer is more gun control. Never mind that shootings happen even where gun control is the strongest. We obviously need more. How much more? 2 tbsp? A cup? A cord? A ton? What exactly are the units when people clamor for more? Why are they so stupid as to not see the obvious failures, both through simple reasoning and objective demonstrations every weekend in places like Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, LA....

California again, huh? Not long after that Saugus High School shooting on the 14th. How can this be happening? The pro-gun control Giffords Law Center says California has the best, most stringent gun control laws of any state in the entire country. They're supposed to be a model for us all in preventing these mass shootings.

According to Fresno police officer Bill Dooley, the shooting took place about 6 p.m. at a backyard party, behind a house where shooting suspects fired into a crowd. “Officers arrived on scene – what we found were several individuals deceased in the backyard.” he said. “We do have multiple shooting victims. We’re not releasing the total number yet.” Four people were killed and six more were injured, all of the victims were Asian men between 25 and 35 years old, according to media reports. ​ ​The exact number of people who died in the incident hasn't been reported so far.
