Update re copyright issue
We always have a duty to protect FR by obeying the copyright restrictions to which FR is held accountable. Upthread speculation that we have lurkers watching Q threads for the specific purpose of reporting copyright violations may explain why I and others have seen content (yesterday and prior) on the forum left in place while our Q thread's is deleted with extreme predjudice (bitt's suspension). In fact it seemed that bitt was under a lighting-rod cloud there for awhile and, if lurkers want to impact our thread content, targeting bitt's posts was an effective way of doing it.
Even if it weren't "lurkers" targeting our threads, we still need to be very careful to obey all copyright limits; others on the internet would probably like to hamstring FRee Republic's conservative voice and free exchange of ideas. And, as conservatives, we respect the right for property owners, including publishers, to protect their property. Jim Rob and fam worked hard to build this; let's help maintain it.
On that note, our hero bitt seems to have taken another bullet for the team. I received a 3rd party email in which bitt apologized profusely but in reply, I must thank her for being so productive she's a threat! Our thread weapon of choice! So prayers up for a speedy return by bitt and, bitt, THANKQ for your service to Q's army.
