Just like venison, bear meat is excellent if it is done correctly. Get a young
bear, cleaned and butchered in a timely manner and cooked carefully, it is
excellent. Older male bear meat can be tough and gamey, so caveat
emptor...I like it slow cooked in a crock pot like pot roast or stew. Yum.
