A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder after allegedly beating a well-known animal rescuer to death.
Albert Chernoff, a military veteran, was found dead in his home in the 8400 block of Algon Avenue in Rhawnhurst, Philadelphia, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police found 59-year-old Chernoff, whose nickname was "Alley Cat," with a massive head wound and partially tied to a bed, ABC6 reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Sources told the station he had been attacked with a nail-studded 2x4 board.

Killed with a blunt weapon late at night and the victim had several slash wounds to his chest. Video inside the home shows her washing her hands and then opening a refrigerator door.
That girl looks like a male. Maybe more to the story.

According to what I have heard, he was in his own home. There are allegations that he may have sexually assaulted the young person. But, of course, he is not in a position to contradict that. The alleged assailant is said to be a youth with a “troubled background.” Hopefully, the truth will come out in the investigation.
