Melania Trump loves her stilettos — but she went for more casual footwear on her latest flight.
The first lady boarded Air Force One yesterday en route from New York to Washington, D.C., and she sported a cold-weather ready outfit for the occasion.
Trump wore a black-and-white double-breasted Red Valentino jacket over a long-sleeved black top and matching skinny jeans.
She completed her monochrome look with shiny black leather combat boots featuring three straps across the upper and a pull-tab at the ankle.

Tankers used to wear boots similar to that, straps instead of laces.

They appear to be a civilian version of tanker boots. See the photo of tanker boots in Joe 6-Pack’s post #11.
She speaks like 5 languages and was very successful in modeling/fashion/coture, which is a tough business. She is no lightweight.
If Trump were a Democrat she would be on the cover of 10-20 magazines at least quarterly.
But is Melania’s arms as good as Mooch? /s
She never looks COLD to me.

I have similar boots and jeans....now, to find that jacket 😍
Is there some reason they have to run across a tarmac? I’ve never understood it for ANY First Couple to have to do that!
Can’t there be some sort of canopy covering? Or does The Almighty PRESS Object?
Is there anyplace better to be sniped than running across a tarmac?

Love that! Similar ‘Everyday People’ situation with my BFF of 40 years.
Her beau at the time (and the man she was CERTAIN she wanted to marry) was dating her and another gal. Without her asking, ALL of us in her inner circle (guys and gals) called him, or when we ran into him in everyday life, told him that if he didn’t chose our friend over the other gal, he was making the worst mistake of his life!
35 years later - they’re still very happily married and have recently become Grandparents. *HEART*
He thanks us all on a regular basis. :)
