Now what the article doesn’t tell us is that with evolution the octopus lost the nostrils and took on the more familiar look that we know today. But if you look really closely you can still see a bump where the nose used to be.

Yeah, but did Spiders come from Octopi, or did Octopi come from Spiders, or do they share a now non-extant common ancestor?

Or maybe that bump means it’s evolving another eye

(serious argument someone gave me about how an eye ‘evolved’ when it really needs to be created all at once for it to work)
