Happy Sunday all...
It’s a veteran’s show...don’t remember the Alan Young Show...it doesn’t get better than You Bet Your Life...and ending well with The NBC University Theatre.
How’s it?
Hi, Vision! It’s fine—other than the sad occasion of 2nd Division Vet’s death.
How’re you doing?
Life’s good Gina, the holidays are approaching rapidly. Pretty good Alabama/LSU game.
The Alabama/LSU game was NOT good.
Glad you’re doing well. :-)
Evening, folks. Sad day that we lost 2nd Division Vet.
Thanks for this.
Sure.
Yeah, we got up into the upper 60’s today. Tomorrow night is going to bring a cold rain and the high is only going to be in the mid 40’s Tuesday when the front passes, with the temp dropping into the mid 30’s by sundown, then a low in the low 20’s Tuesday night. Fortunately for us, the frontal passage and the precip won’t be in sync enough to bring any wintry weather, except maybe in the mountains along the northern border hills. Depending on then the rain ends, we could see some isolated icy patches on the roads Wednesday morning. The amazing part is, as of October 5th, we still had a heat index of 102 in the area. This is another reason why I don’t like the South. It goes from summer to ‘winter’ in a matter of weeks. And it plays hell with my lower legs.
Hi, Viking!
Yes, it’s sad about him, and I feel so badly for his wife. We met them when they used to live here on the Coast. I know Keith pinged you in his comment earlier.
Hi, Gina! Yeah, tell Keith thank you on my behalf. Well, he’s out of pain and in a better place. And I think God gives you your robust body back when you pass muster and are granted a place in Heaven, so he’s up there, smiling with lost loved ones and running the fields.
Well, we certainly hope so.
