Addendum — there were no lines, but there were a steady trickle of voters. To me everyone looked like a Republican voter (more elderly, etc.).
Unfortunately, southern VA is not what matters, What matters is Northern VA, Norfolk, & Newport News.
We dutifully cast our wasted votes here in Richmond. A Republican will never win in Richmond. The good news for us is that we are moving to western VA where our vote will count.
I would start a movement for SW VA to succeed and join TN.

My state (Washington) went all mail vote several years ago. I hate it. The only things I cared about on my ballot was a city council position (friend of mine running) and a school funding measure (voted against).
Oh, and the perennial $30 vehicle license tabs referendum (the public keeps voting it in and the state legislature keeps cutting it out) ;’}

SE VA report. My family’s 3 voters went to our precinct and voted R. Conservative area with good turnout. Won’t overcome the liberal areas in VA but we did our part.
