Emma Watson has said she prefers to call herself "self-partnered" rather than single as she approaches her 30th birthday.
Watson, 29, who rose to fame as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, coined the phrase in an interview with British Vogue in which she discussed the pressures of turning 30.
[snip]
Speaking of how she had never believed the "'I'm happy single' spiel," she added: "It took me a long time, but I'm very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered."
The new phrase is reminiscent of actor Gwyneth Paltrow's use of the term "conscious uncoupling" to describe her divorce proceedings from the Coldplay singer Chris Martin in 2014.

ok, I’m guilty as charged... but you know, a dirty mind is often the sign of an active mind.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

As good looking as she is, I would imagine shes just unbearable to be in a room with. Self-important, condescending and strongly opinionated, though utterly lacking in knowledge or insight. But, the real question is, can she put that aside for a while and get down? Probably not, or she wouldn't be self-single and talking about it.

Emma Watson seems to have done a pretty good job of keeping her private life private, despite the paparazzi ready to pounce on any stumble. She is said to be highly intelligent. She's made enough money to be financially secure. She has probably had more success as a model than an actress since Harry Potter days, but on both the acting and modeling fronts, she has stayed classy. I wish her politics were other than what they are, but in general, she has behaved as I would wish more young celebrities did. I wish there were more Emma Watsons and fewer Miley Cyrus types.
As to relationships: I don't follow the gossip pages at all, but as a broad generalization, the professional circles in which she moves are incredibly toxic. If she has surveyed the pickings in the entertainment and fashion worlds and chosen to stay clear of predators, playboys, degenerates and freaks, she may not have much left to chose from. Especially since she's probably smarter than 98 percent of the men she meets, and richer than 90 percent of them. Maybe when her career slows down a bit, which should happen as she ages, she can find a smart, stable guy with a real world career far from the celebrity circuit and with his priorities in order. Looking at Hollywood, many of the celebrity marriages that last seem to involve one partner who is out of the fast track whirl and who can provide an anchor.

Dear Ms. Emma Watson:
Thank you for your recent order from our sex toys shop.
You asked for the large red vibrator featured on our wall display.
Please select another item because that is our fire extinguisher.

Self partnered? Well two hands are better than one, lefty and righty? so you think she is ambidextrous?
Excellent!
Love to see her pitch a ball game.
