Too bad he didn’t buy his chicken in neighboring Friendly, MD instead.
I have never found any food item I would be willing to stand in line for, let alone stab someone over. If the electric grid ever went down for any considerable time those inner city folks are going to be in deep poo poo!
The only thing that will make this story better will be if there’s a stabbing/shooting at the coming candlelight vigil.
Dat must be some good cluck.
How many more people have to die before this sandwich is banned!
Interesting, I passed by a Popeye’s yesterday and there must have been 15 cars lined up at the drive thru........
I’m staying at a hotel in Oxon Hill tonight. Guess where I won’t be going for dinner
Umm.. it aint a burger, and didn’t popeyes always have chicken?
I am going to buy a bunch of those sandwiches and video myself tossing them into dumpsters. Post the videos along with the dumpster locations and see what happens.
Tells you a lot about the standard clientele at Popeyes. I get take-out once a a while. Will not dine in. Too dangerous if you get my drift. Killing someone over a chicken sandwich???
Is all this chicken sandwich kerfuffle still to spite Chick-Fil-A, or is this somehow located in a food desert where there is nothing else to eat?
The “Air Jordans” of Chicken Sandwiches.
So some people are really really excited over a chicken sandwich? Like getting mad? Like killing someone?
Apparently the human race still has some leftover genes from uncivilized brutes. I’ve heard of fights in department stores over a bloody toy! Makes me wonder if the designation “homo sapiens” still applies.
“Fried Chicken Matters”
Satan’s chicken.
OMG ping!
“trying to get their hands on the burger “
It’s a chicken sandwich, you silly brits.
I drove past that Popeye’s on my way to and from work at Ft. McNair for nearly 20 years. I’ve purchased chicken from there countless times for the 30 years I lived in the Oxon Hill/Camp Springs area. I never encountered your sarcastic comment at the store, even when it was crowded. And the staff was always courteous. And 1) I was never disappointed with the quality of their deep fried chicken and 20 I especially liked their onion rings.
Also, I’ve eaten in the store multiple times. I was shocked at this incident happening there. It is definitely uncommon for that store.
I remember back when I was a liberal Democrat, how I thought, like so many of my fellow political mutants, so many people were dumb, running around in their pickup trucks, shooting guns, and consuming resources, even though the world was being polluted and we were supposed to be peaceful.
Then I became a conservative. Then I figured, people are smart enough to run their own lives. Leave them alone. I supported Trump’s deregulation and became more aware of the awful things the type of government that I used to support was doing to people. Just leave them alone.
It is dismaying to realize that I was right about people the first time, albeit for different reasons. But I’m still leaving them alone. Why should the rest of us suffer the heavy hand of government because of all the idiots. Dummies.
