I can ski out my backyard for a whole lot less. My knees are shot though. So forget it.

A trip to Grand Targhee is a bit less expensive and they have one entire mountain dedicated to non-groomed ‘cat’ skiing (ride up on a tracked vehicle, ski down on virgin powder).
They get FANTASTIC powder and a lot of it!

It is 200 kilometers north of Arctic Circle. Northernmost ski resort in the world.
We went there last year while staying at Ice Hotel. A great experience but too steep for my level of skiing. My son was all over it though.
