I wasn't making a statement about politics. I was just stating what we SAW there. All three groups want to be there so they are forced to deal with each other. The Jews are the owners but they often have two or three other places where they also live part of the year.
That leaves a hole in the work force. SO the Jews hire out work for the Catholic Arabs and Muslims.
Israeli Jews hire the Arabs because, we were told, the Jews won't wash toilets. SO they hire the Muslims to do that. The Muslims are poor enough that they'll take any work. There is TOO MUCH to do for only one group to accomplish what has to be done so all three MUST work together.
They DO work together and they work together successfully. Necessity breeds odd bed-fellows, so to speak.
