In NE Oklahoma, it usually does not snow till around Thanksgiving Day. We had a dusting of snow last night and freezing temps.
Besides, they have claimed “no more snow” for years.
And many of us old timers who had to work out in that stuff would just as well not see anymore.
Within the last few years I remember British papers moaning that the winders were going to be colder than they had been for a hundred years. What happened?
Does this writer lie much?! IIRC several years in a row now, Merry Olde England has been frozen stiff for stretches of the winter. It appears that if the much vaunted climate change doesn’t actually happen, types like this guy will lie and say it did, anyhow.

Coldest October day on record in Denver Metro area. (-4 F)
In addition to the snow 2 weeks ago, we got another FOOT of snow Mon, Tues, Wed.

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
If I feel the need to see snow I jump in the car and take about a 45 minute drive. Done!
Had to brush an inch of something white and cold off the truck the begining of the week. I’m hardly in snow country, but in high desert in the NM quarter of the 4-corners. Pretty sure it was snow, didn’t taste it.
