I don’t have children who Trick or Treat. However, I think the shutdown age should be at the most twelve. Kids are very much more mature at the age of twelve today than earlier generations. When they consider themselves teens, they should be embarrassed to be out with younger children partaking in children’s games. Also, I think with the number of pedophiles and drug dealers, ner’ do wells all around us in today’s society, that Halloween should only be celebrated in authorized indoor centers with plenty of responsible adult supervision. Parents should want to protect their children from all harm as much as possible. With today’s detached society, do you really know who’s living next door to you, or a few houses down in your same neighborhoods?
