Former Vice president Joe Biden pushed his gun control plan by giving AR-15 owners an ultimatum to surrender their rifles or register them with the government.Biden's plan would also apply to AK-47s, variants of both rifles, and other firearms that have been labeled as “assault weapons" by Democrats. The surrender or register option would also apply to “high capacity” magazines.

You already need a Federal Firearms License to own a Select Fire “Assault” Weapon. WTH is he talking about?
My Ruger 10/22 shoots as fast as my “Civilian” Semi Auto AR-15.
I guess this means I had better get that AR Pistol I’ve been thinking about buying.

Buck you, Fiden. The only reason, I repeat, the ONLY reason why you want the most popular rifle in the country and the magazines for it registered with the government is so that you will have a list later on to CONFISCATE EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM.
All you need to do is look at the examples in Australia and now New Zealand. They have a list of owners, they send out a letter saying "Mr. and Mrs. Gun Owner, turn them all in," and then know on which doors to knock for the last 10% that hold onto their freedom.
