If John Roberts as Chief Justice were to recuse himself from serving over an impeachment trial in the senate, then I presume the next most senior member of the court would then be slated - that would be Clarence Thomas? I think Clinton + Obama appointees come after that so Thomas better stay put for 5 years! WWG1WGA :)
