If you travel west to east through new York state just on the north side of I90 you can travel through some of the quaint towns. The Amish up there tend to live on the feeder roads to these towns. The road less traveled, so to say.
As far as having their own town, I can’t say they do. They rely heavily on a good population that buy their goods.
Be careful though because you may go around a corner and find a horse drawn carrage going very slow.
Happy trails to you.
A jerked over Amish is an Amish that left the church or never join.
They nether Mennonites Dunkards.
I been to Nappanee many times by wife has relatives in all 3 communities.
If you can time your trip to coincide with the Kutztown Folk Festival, it would be quite a treat IMO. We love going there each year for the artists who sell their work.

I passed through Intercourse.
That’s because there is a Gap between them...
We have Mennonite too from the Mexico communities, they are a wee bit different to deal with.
Had a wonderful meal at the Ox Yoke in Amana.
It’s been decades, but I visited a little artsy-fartsy town called New Hope, PA once. My girlfriend and I shopped in the little stores then hit the bars. Neat/quaint town. Not Amish, but from what I remember, it was worth the visit. Located in Bucks county roughly in the lower right corner of the state.
There are Amish communities in Chautauqua County in Western New York State. Cherry Creek and Conewango on the eastern side of the county. Clymer and Sherman on the western part of the county.

Also take in the place where Gable & Lombard were married-an early example of environmental care. Still running.
Check out Smicksburg, PA.
You’ll have to look up Shaker museums. The Shakers themselves died out ;>
I visited an “Amish” shop in Shipshewana, IN. Everything in the shop was “made in China”.
I always liked Charm, Ohio but I haven’t been there in over 20 years. We would always stop at Alpine Alpa with all the cuckoo clocks on US 62 for lunch but it’s out of business now.
Yes, Amish-flavor...made in China. :-)
