Fifty years ago I was in the Gates-Chili Volunteer Fire Company (Company 1); a great outfit, very professional in character. As you know, Gates borders Chili on the north, and both lie on the limits of the City of Rochester to the east of them. They all share West Avenue.

Good to hear from you! I grew up in the west side of the city, and later made Greece, North Chili and lastly Spencerport my home. There’s so much I miss but glad to now call myself a Texan.
