Chinese expert: efforts to provoke hostility in Sino-Russian relations fruitless(Chinese agitprop)

Sino-Russian relations are a topic that the American media has been following for a long time. A few days ago, the American international public radio company Voice of America published an article that contains a study of the Russian pollster Levada Center in September, according to which, following the worsening economic situation in Russia, xenophobia intensified, in particular, anti-Chinese sentiments. Is this really so?

I found the original report of the Russian Levada Center, which mainly refers to the fact that the “Crimea effect” caused a decrease in the attention of the Russian public to immigration issues after the Ukrainian crisis. However, in the absence of significant social and economic changes, Russia limits the number of immigrants, returning to the level preceding the outbreak of the Ukrainian crisis.

It should be noted that the report does not focus on the issues of China and the attitude of Russians to China. In this regard, we can say that the American media “embellished” the results of the report. In such circumstances, one can not doubt the real intentions of the Americans.

First of all, an article with subjective views and prejudices gives impetus to local ultranational and anti-foreign forces. It is worth noting that annually on November 4 in Moscow rallies of anti-government Russian nationalist forces take place, representatives of which mainly express their dissatisfaction and resistance to immigrants, and also declare that "Russia is for Russians." This year, the organizers of the rally have already submitted an application to the Moscow city administration for holding demonstrations, and the American media want to take this opportunity and provoke hostile feelings between China and Russia.

Secondly, following the improvement of Sino-Russian relations over the past few years, countries have achieved new successes in bilateral business cooperation. In fact, the Russians are becoming better towards the Chinese. According to a survey conducted by the same Levada Center, the proportion of friendly Russians towards the Chinese over the past two years has remained at 70%, a similar indicator for the United States and Western countries is 40%. Obviously, the Russian people are friendlier to China than to the West.

Thirdly, in modern Russian society there really are people who are wary of the Chinese and have misconceptions, but only referring to the aforementioned survey, we can say that statements about the growing anti-Chinese sentiments in Russia are biased and biased.

Xenophobic and nationalist forces have always existed in Russia, but there are few extremely extremist groups. Moreover, these anti-foreign forces oppose not only the Chinese, but also the citizens of other countries.

From a general point of view, in 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Russian relations, the countries have achieved fruitful results. In the past few years, China has consistently been the largest foreign source of tourists for Russia. The constant strengthening of Sino-Russian relations is causing concern for certain external forces that are actively provoking disagreements between countries. However, to their disappointment, the PRC and the Russian Federation have long understood their intentions and are firmly committed to continuing to develop relations of comprehensive strategic interaction and partnership. This year, the foreign ministers of the two countries have repeatedly stressed that Sino-Russian relations will not be exposed to external influence. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly expressed his point of view on the development of bilateral relations, and also openly supports China.

The other day, official representatives of China and Russia specifically made statements regarding external provocations, this indicates a close strategic relationship between the two countries. The PRC and the Russian Federation will not be exposed to external influences, much less they will not be influenced by certain “speculative” articles of the Western media.

Only very well informed Americans know that Voice of America is a shill Socialist Leftist Globalist Propaganda source, and has been for almost three decades. Most everyone else thinks Voice of America is still the Radio Free Europe type of source that was broadcasting uncensored news in the 50's, through the 70's.

Voice of America means Russia and Russians no good, but does try to Demonize Russia as the Evil Common Enemy that "Western Civilization" must unite against, under the rule of the Liberal Socialist Global Elite.

The same Ruling Elite whom have already sold out their citizens to China and Islam.
