Mopping it on now. I tried it - it's a
little thinner than your regular BBQ sauce (but not terribly thin), but it's
bold. Sweet and peppery. Overall, I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. I'd buy it again. I'd have loved to have grilled them, but my deadbeat son-in-law used an entire tank of propane, went through most of my charcoal, let both grill lights on to go dead, then covered the grill back up uncleaned. (His idea of clean is, walk away and let someone else do it, just like the
damn dishes!!!!!!) It'll take a bottle of Windex, grill cleaner, a wire grill brush, and maybe a coat of grill paint in spots to get it cleaned up for winter. They've about overstayed their welcome. 'Just a month or two, to get back our feet', my ass. Freeloaders. 😠
I picked out the seeds from the sqush to dry and save for next year. I've got a lot of vines out there with big flowers (and Romas, too), but nothing is developing, dammit. It's frustrating. I mean, what do I have to do, plant everything under tents? 😡
