“we got so angry watching a Trump speech that we accidentally dumped about 200 gallons of Pine-sol into a batch of chicken soup that we knew was destined for middle America. They deserve it anyway as those rubes don’t know what is good for them.”
No, he is saying that because Trump deregulated the production of soup he was forced to sell contaminated soup.
So it’s the government’s fault that YOU put out poisoned soup base?
No you stupid twit - that’s YOUR fault, ALL YOUR fault and it seems Trump’s “deregulated FDA” still managed to catch your mistake that could’ve led to the deaths of many.
“We never had to recall any U.S. made products in the Obama years or under Bush, Clinton or the original Bush either. Just saying.”
Just a guess. Some of his long time employees, who knew how to operate the machines safely, were ICEd out of their jobs and the replacements were not properly trained.
That would be at least partially Trump’s fault.
I used to love going into Penzeys in Uptown Minneapolis. The scents from all the spices were intoxicating. So many different cinnamons and chiles. I was hooked. The employees were great too.
Then I got the ahole’s publication in the mail as I signed up for the catalog.
Bill Penzey is a blind no common sense social justice warrior jackass.
Better than Boullion soup base is my favorite. The Ham base with a pot of beans is good!
Wouldn’t it be nice to put samples from all his spices through a mass spec and look for icky things like pesticides and heavy metals and the like. I guarantee there would be things found. Some of that stuff comes from 3rd world countries that don’t control stuff very well.

"As soon as we thought we could get away with shipping you contaminated products, we tried to!"
Bon Appétit! ...
HAH... More than likely they had Trump stickers on their cars in the parking lot and he fired them.
ICE has not raided Penzys.
we need a cool graphic for this guy
I did think he had unusually blue eyes.
He would then claim that was Trump’s fault too!
Suggested: His face alongside a blowup of the ingredients on one of the spice bottles, but altered to show that it may contain insect parts, rat droppings, etc.
LOL!
What an idiot. He obviously doesn't recognize that his State has priority over the FDA.
WISCONSIN FOOD PROCESSING AND FOOD SALES REQUIREMENTS FOOD SAFETY & LICENSING GUIDE
Our role is to ensure that foods made and sold in Wisconsin meet applicable state and federal food safety regulatory standards.
Snip...There are certain types of foods -specifically canned items and processed fish -that can only be made in a facility licensed as a food processing plant.
His State government bears first responsibility.
Chapter ATCP 74 local agents and regulation
ATCP 74.16 Enforcement and sampling.
I would be willing to bet he didn't need a license from the Federal government to start his business, only one from the State government.
Somebody needs to tell him that deliberately getting people sick (an assumption on my part, to be sure) to score political points is pretty despicable.
How could Trump have stopped Penzeys making bad spice products?
Do we need government presence at every food facility testing every batch because the companies can’t produce safe foodstuffs without big brother watching?
If they were there, he’d be b1tching about them being there watching their every move.
Certain its the russians.
Why don’t you write an op ed about this and submit it to a few conservative sites. Sounds like you could get a scalp.
Make your own soup base from chicken, fresh vegetables and herbs you can get at your local grocery. Freeze in plastic ice cube trays then wrap thee cubes in plastic wrap and store in the freezer. Pressure cooker makes this process quicker
Besides, I'm content with counting coup. I don't need scalps.
