People were like totally not interested in a little spying on Dembos. Figured both parties spied on each other all the time.
Presstitutes just kept playing that drum, DemonCraps held hearings etc. etc. Weak kneed Pubbies got the vapors, and down he went.
My Dad said that Nixon didn’t do anything worse than the others did, he just had more determined enemies. I wouldn’t know cause I wasn’t a full fledged political junkie then.
I had been thinking this very thing. While I was doing some office work, I turned on the radio for noise - Rush was on. He was saying it was the same playbook as Water Gate. It sure seems like it to me too.
Now Watergate does not bother me.

From what I read, Nixon didn’t even know about the break in until later, then erased some tape and lied.
