Think I’ll start smoking again. I’m not sure the future is looking so bright.

At a talent show several executives for Honeywell dressed up and lip-synched a Supremes’ number. Today they would all have to resign. This is idiocy.

So what? SO WHAT?
That group was popular years ago. He’s remembering them.
It’s going to take a couple of brave white people who will refuse to apologize for something other races do all the time without consequence.

They may still get fired, by cowardly employers, but the conversation has to start, when is ‘just having fun’ a good enough reason? And no, imitation is not an insult. Imitation is how we all learn. Everybody ‘steals’ from everybody.

The music boss admitted he had made the ‘terrible mistake’ seven years ago at a party when guests were asked to come dressed as their favourite musical icon.

And obviously they were his favorite musical icon. So he dressed like one of them as a tribute. As flattery.

I fail to see the problem.

In the ‘80s, our group of friends sang, “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” dressed up as the California Raisins.

Was that wrong? Should we not have done that?

These snowflakes make the stereotype Texas hard shell independent fundamentalist Baptist seem like a laissez faire libertarian.

Obviously a Whitey. He should have known that anything a Whitey says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, can be changed into a hate crime as much as 1000 years later.
