Wow, what a bunch of hard cases we have this evening. As one of the posters said in a comment above, the passengers would not agree that her actions were not heroic.
Possibly. My thinking is passengers, those not working as an aviator, those passengers remind me of the average Joe and Jane Smuck standing in the TSA line, commending in how wonderful security is because “look at all the stuff they are going. I feel so secure.”
Kabuki dancing going on and because they don’t understand how silly TSA is, they confuse actually doing something vs looking like something is being done. Sort of like that when it come to passengers thinking some pilot is heroic because “he did something.”
