I am not stupid.
Barr's job is to be the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of this country - not to give speeches to "educate" pampered law students. Moreover, if a law student has rejected God (or cannot even contemplate the role of Judeo-Christianity in the West), a speech by Barr is not going to change their foolish minds.
"For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse."

Arresting the dozens and dozens of Deep State criminals, rapists, thieves, insider traders, frauds, seditionists, murderers, and traitors is not Stalinesque. It is what the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of this nations is called to do when the crimes of these vermin are so manifest that even a child could see it.
Right now, I think the odds of Barr actually doing his job are 20 to 1.

Presumably he has time off for private pursuits. Neither of us know his schedule or if he had other business in the Chicago area that involved his job and took time to talk to them. Even if not the case, its not like he punches in on the clock every morning and works on an assembly line. He is the head of a Government agency. Part of this job involves “outreach” and “education”.

Why assume that everyone at Notre Dame is “Pampered?” No poor on Scholarships? And should we dislike the rich people that have it easier than us? (See the 10th commandment.)

Well, it was a speech to a law school and not a Sermon in a revival tent, so it won’t operate in quite the same way. He did convey to them that their Religion (Christianity) was under attack and they need to take this seriously. Then again, Who am I to tell God who to use to do his work and what effect it will have on the religious convictions of a Foolish or Wise (but misinformed) student?
