The controversial television host, who revealed earlier today that he’ll be debating whether or not he should be fired from his position on tomorrow’s show, has asked his 6.8million Twitter fanbase to show their support by adding their signatures to a Change.org appeal. ‘BREAKING: There is now a rival petition to save me on @GMB,’ Piers wrote. ‘Thank you Margaret Lowry! Please sign it if you wish to repel the snivelling snowflakes & keep me in my job.’ In another post, he added: ‘Spread the word, my people… Sign, RT, and save me as your voice against the shriekingly illiberal liberals who want to cancel everyone who dares challenge them…’
The description of the campaign, which so far has 2,414 supporters, reads: ‘Keep Piers Morgan for his common-sense approach to life. He’s also funny!! ‘He’s not afraid to speak out and says what a lot of us are thinking.’ The petition comes days after angry viewers called for Piers to be removed from Good Morning Britain for his treatment of the LGBT+ community. ‘Morgan dictates to his viewers that it’s acceptable to deny an LGBTQ+ person of their rights; it’s acceptable to tell them they don’t exist; it’s acceptable to call them “snowflakes” when they get rightfully upset,’ part of the petition’s description reads. ‘These are the lessons Morgan teaches. ITV, as a major broadcasting corporation with a worldwide reach, are currently tarnishing a long-lasting legacy by using one of their highest-performing programmes as a vehicle to spread hate and intolerance.’

Well don’t tell anyone but I like Pierce Morgan. Been following him for years. No, I am not a fan of his anti gun stance and many of his other positions but I find him at least willing to have an intelligent debate and is not one of those intransigent libtards that just scream when confronted with facts. I enjoy PM and actively read his articles. So can I keep my FR credentials?

Not necessarily. Political alliances are a much different mix in the UK.
Morgan has taken a courageous stance against the transgender lobby and went after Greta Thunberg's parents for letting her be exploited.
Pro-lifers are actually on the left in the UK and a lot like Red Francis. I know someone from the UK that is rabidly pro-abortion but is a huge Trump supporter and rabidly opposes Muslim immigration.
I hope the petition helps him. I don’t sign such things myself - all it does for sure is put your name on the sites’ email list.
