It is a self-governing organization of people who don’t allow misconduct to persist.

As opposed to Local, State and Federal Governments.

I’m guessing that the best high point repeater locations are on public land.

“It is about control.”

The only thing they really want to control is the vote. After that, it all falls into sub-categories of money and power to keep it.

“Their true concern is that the communication network will be used to organize resistance to their tyranny. That is the real reason they’re doing this.”

You nailed it! They also feel the same way about old fashioned shortwave radio broadcasting. All about total state power.

Two nights ago I talked to four ham radio operators, one works with repeaters, who told me this article is bunk.

It is NOT the govt’s property. It is the property of the citizens of the USA, and the govt is also the property of the citizens.

Nevada County-—hit by the power outages-— had Hamn operators erect multiple repeaters for the 2000 year changeover. No one knw what might happen, and they needed communications with the entire county for LEO’s, etc.

Those repeaters are in the National Forests.

This sure sounds like a crippling effect on any communications attempted by Patriots trying the save this country.

If you want rid of a significant number of your population in say a natural or man made disaster controlling citizens communications is vital. If there is no one able to the world or complain about the government failures what’s the problem? Conspiratorial, maybe but I’ll buy it for now because their reasons are flimsy crap.

It’s connected to HAM radio using CalFire repeaters. I don’t think it’s as bad has the GP makes it seem. Read the link I posted to the HAM guys discussion about it.

Not permitted to be compensated for amateur radio communications with a very few exceptions.

“....who told me this article is bunk.”

The only problem is an article like this may give the greedy phallic symbols an idea on how to screw someone else up whether it matches legalities or not.

I was a MARS operator in Alaska working with crypto, AGA9GA. So we chased everyone we could off our frequency for government use. We had an F-15 go down into the Yukon River during my time up there and we went crypto for 3 days until the EOD and NTSB let us off the hook. That was a mess.

FEMMA logically, backed by DOJ, challenge this abuse of State jurisdiction. Public airways and emergency communication takes up the the rights of the civil population to the BENEFITS of ham radio.

Is it likely the STATE is trying to neuter Military, local fire, police... and those civilians who hold ham licences to operate Federally established and designated alternative communication.

This people in the Kaliforina govt should be stripped of the jobs for reason of public safety, alone; for starters.
