Jesse is extremely popular, has matured, does his homework and is prepared on all subjects.....he strongly stands up to jerks like Wan Williams....and he's young enough to quickly pack and fly country-wide to do the field trips and stand mike in hand in the midst of hurricane winds and roiling flood waters like Shemp did.
The woman-audience that watches afternoon TV will like the good-lookin' Waters and would love to be in his "world".

Totally different positions; Smith’s job was fundamentally news reporting, and should have been fundamentally free of bias; Waters is there for his acerbic commentary and in-depth reporting on his own point of view. I’d rather see Waters do what he does, and someone more like Brit Hume (most of the time) in the newsier slot.
Pretty Boy Waters is a good call for replacing Shemp long term. I just wonder if since it’s election season coming up that the liberals running Fox might want a more partisan Trump hater in that slot thru November 2020.
