Yep, the lead engine's front axle jumped off-rail to the right, and it came toa stop a full train-length past the collision point.

A lot of the conspiratorial folks were confused about the train's direction, because the rear "pusher" engine (running in reverse) stopped just past the collision crossing.

The driver, IIRC, was least injured. Look at the windshield; one head smashed it -- and at least one passenger was ejected. The passenger who survived may be permanently disabled.
