A Starbucks barista in England was caught on video trying to boot a homeless man as he chowed down on a meal purchased by a kind-hearted bystander outside the coffee chain.
The footage, obtained by The Sun, shows the unidentified drifter, dressed in an open shirt, sitting outside a Starbucks in Southend, Essex, after a Good Samaritan spent $10 to buy him food after seeing the man savaging nearby.
Yeah, he can eat somewhere else, a barista told the man and Sajid Kahhllon, who paid for the sandwich and chocolate cake moments earlier.
But he bought the food, he paid for that I paid for that, Kahhllon continued.
Yeah, but he cant stay here, the male barista shot back.
No, but if food is being paid and hes eating it what is the problem then? Kahhllon asked. He paid [for] the food, the food is being bought is he not a human?
Kahhllon demanded that the man be allowed to stay and finish his lunch, as did other nearby customers, the video shows. But the barista held firm on his request for the man to leave, claiming that he would undoubtedly return if allowed to stay put.
Critics of the encounter later blasted the coffee giant online, with some calling for a boycott, according to The Sun.

How do we know that he identifies as a barista?................
Ok, hes got shoes and he’s wearing a shirt.
Asking him to button up the shirt or zip up his top, that I think isn’t unreasonable.
I thought this was a nonissue, i thought these places let people sit there all day whetheror not they bought stuff.
How do you know? That’s very binary of you.
Hesheits is obviously a baristx
Huh. I was all set to pile on the evil Starbucks, but this “Good Samaritan” came equipped with a bull horn???
Yeah, but the SB CEO and company made a big big deal about their policy saying everyone was welcome.
Yup.
But i dont even credit alinsky for it.
Bible talks about hypocrites all the way back in the beginning.
Gypsies and homeless aren’t necessarily the same thing. Generational travelling con artists and homeless are not tge same thing. Here they were called Travellers, among other things.
LOL!
Pretty much true. I've spend hours sitting in a Starbucks, a Panera Bread or a Dunkin Donuts nursing one or two cups of black coffee. Never been asked to leave once. Never get their overpriced foods or fancy drinks. Although I'm usually in business clothes or business casual.
I go there for the free wi-fi.
No, the bullhorn pic was from last year when after two black men who hadnt bought anything were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks.
“I wouldnt want him eating it in my establishment.”
Re-read the first two sentences.
Maybe he was stinky.
Notice all the girl staff hiding in the back, leaving the one male staff alone on the front lines to absorb all the B.S.
Starbucks got woke—let them choke on it.
I was once victimized by a Traveler. They are similar to Gypsies but are not genetically related. They also tend to be handsome or pretty. Also come from Scotland or Ireland, Tinkers or Travelers.
I spent 25 years responding to “homeless” people on medical calls. There are people who have crappy jobs and just can’t afford a place to stay, but you don’t notice them because they are not out panhandling and drunk and stoned in public. The “homeless” that you notice are scumbags who deserve to be chased out of any place where they are making a nuisance of themselves.
I am actually typing this on my phone behind a conference center my wife is modelling at for a “doll show”. This place is completely infested, I was afraid to leave our van unattended. The security guard was chasing off guys who were rumaging through the ashtrays on top of the garbage cans looking for cigarrette and marijuana joint butts.
I used to work at the fire station right across the freeway from here. Since they legalized pot this place has become a sh*t hole.
Service was already provided and the food was paid for. The homeless guy was seated at a table eating and obviously not bothering anyone..........
Why do you have a problem with that?
One raggedy Bum will attract other raggedy Bums.
Regular customers won’t like sitting next to that.
You know they’ll start begging for money or ‘to borrow’ your cell phone, then get an attitude when you say no.
Would this be considered
‘Chickens coming home to roost?’
