My Dad has a Toyota Tacoma. He loves the truck, but mice keep getting into the engine compartment and chewing up his wiring. He parks the vehicle outside, and he has had to repair the wiring harness several times.
Now you open the hood of his truck and he has the engine compartment festooned with rodent repellent hang-tags. It looks ridiculous and smells worse, but the damage has stopped.
