While my Cowboys are laying eggs up in Jet's Land, might I give a plug to Amazon Prime's comedy-drama streaming series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" set in the late 1950s - early 1960s. It is laugh out loud comedy about a housewife in 1958 New York City who discovers she has a knack for stand-up comedy. It has the wittiest dialogue around since the hey days of Dorthy Parker and The Algonquin Round Table.

The production is fantastic as it seems like 1950s New York City is still alive and well plus the female fashions, especially those worn by series stars Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam "Midge" Maisel, could not better better if they had legendary costume designer Edith Head doing them.

I have re-watched twice "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" second season episodes where they are "We're Going to the Catskills!" annual vacation at the Steiner Mountain Resort.

I am not Jewish and would love to have someone from the faith to say whether 'Going' is an accurate look at the way it was in the late 1950s at an upscale Jewish Catskills Mountain Resort.

In any event, I did go to summer camp once and the way there was all that 'organized fun' and assorted goings-on among the gossip and backstabbing of the summer camp regulars. Also, I watched all the episodes of "Spin & Marty" on "The Mickey Mouse Club."

All in all, Rachel Brosnahan is a total liberal turdhead in real life, yet in her character "Midge," she is the pretty, witty kind of gal I always looked for over and over again yet only met once. It did not work out for me in reality but I would love to try with Midge and would even convert to be given such a chance.

All the actors "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" are way above par. Tony Shalhoub & Marin Hinkle are perfect as Midge's parents but my guilty pleasure is Kevin Pollak as Moishe Maisel, her costic ex-father-in-law who has that twinkle in the eye as he does what he does with a total joy in doing and getting his way.

The series writing excellent and to quote from another 1950s favorite of mine, My Favorite Year, "We never cut funny." And there is laugh out loud "funny" running rampant in both the 1982 film and this 2017-now streaming series. "Funny" is sorely missing from all other offerings nowadays on all screens.

I’ve watched The Amazing Mrs Maisel and hoping for a 3rd season. It is indeed the best of whats out there. Oh, and the Cowboys suck!
