Jimmy Carter was so feckless, that he has spent the last 40 years trying (in vain) to punch up his reputation. I do not recall Carter giving similar advice to Bill Clinton, or Barrack Obama, though God knows, they should have been so admonished.

Truth be told, anything Jimmy Carter has to say about anything should be ignored and disregarded out of hand.
