Jack Kent Cook loved that team

Yep. He sure did! Best owner they ever had. He understood where the lines were to be drawn. So, so sad to see how far they've fallen. It's never going to get any better-not until Snyder sells them.

JKC also did everything he could to keep the team in DC. RFK was small and old and he wanted a new modern stadium for the team and fans.
IMVHO the suits in DC missed the boat when they made him look outside the District for a home.

He wanted a fan friendly stadium that people would love for generations.
He had the front row of seats calculated so fans could see over the tallest players. He also demanded that every seat have a great view of the field, all sections have ready access to concessions and bathrooms and parking was spacious.
He also spent his own money to build the stadium.

When Snyder bought the team and stadium he screwed everything up in order to maximise revenue.
He added five rows of overpriced “Dream Seats” that are so low the fans have to stand to see the field.

Snyder introduced premium “Zones” such as the Touchdown Zone and the Tailgate Zone that require paid membership. You don’t have a membership You can’t use that entrance/exit.

Due to lower attendance the club has removed seats in the upper decks starting in 2011.
To date they have removed approximately 20,000 seats so they can maintain their blackout tv status.

While I never particularly followed the team I had respect for JKC.
None at all for Snyder.
