In remarks from the bench before the first argument, Chief Justice John Roberts said Thomas, the court’s longest-serving justice, was “indisposed” due to illness but would still participate in deciding the three cases.

Is this being done to test the legitimacy of RGB deciding cases while not present? I can’t help but wonder if there is more to this than Thomas actually being ill.

I’m waiting to see the derps make some sort of stink about this and then watching it backfire on them.
