The Governor’s Mansion is in downtown Austin, just south of the State Capital. I’m sure the governor has seen all the debris left by the homeless. Dubya used to jog around the river. Abbott can’t jog (he’s confined to a wheelchair) but I’ll bet the paths Dubya used to jog are now dangerous and a health hazard.

Maybe the governor can get annex Austin to become a property of the state government. THAT would be an amazing transition. We could put all the homeless on one-way buses to California.

I try very best to never go to Austin. The area right around the Convention Center has homeless. One pulled down his pants on the sidewalk at 8 am and pooped. Lots of horrified people watching. I had an after dark meeting and was surprised by a homeless man hiding in an inset of a building. Not worth it.
