DALLAS (KRLD) - Amber Guyger has been sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of her neighbor Botham Jean.
Jurors were considering the sentence for a former Dallas police officer whom they convicted of murder for shooting her neighbor in his apartment, which she says she mistook for her own unit one floor below.

Since when do we put people away for life over a mistake...
Who's being put away for life?
She got off with a light sentence given what shes done.
Particularly considering that she and her married boyfriend tampered with evidence by deleting their texts.
How frequently did it lead to other shootings?
Only for the tenants that are trained to be desensitized to shooting "civilians."
Like most women in the joint shell have a lover
Gay for the stay.

“Actually it is. Its right here:”
Word search on your link show ZERO hits.
That would require actually reading the Statute for yourself instead of depending on a word search. So here it is in all its glory:
Sec. 19.04. MANSLAUGHTER. (a) A person commits an offense if he recklessly causes the death of an individual.
(b) An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree.
Idiot. No, check that. Lazy idiot.

You post proves that INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER is not defined in Texas statutes.
Could be raining.
You dodged my question.
This is not someone I would want carrying around a weapon, never mind being a LEO.
I was commenting on one aspect of it in that post, one that is undeniable given the quotes from various people. Those sentiments are 100% derived from the Black Lives Matter BS.
They had no place in this trial, but were apparently a driving force.
“That would require actually reading the Statute for yourself instead of depending on a word search”
I read it before my first post.
Just showing how wrong you were by stating the legal term is NOT in your link as proven by a word search!
Manslaughter is right there, plain as day.
Youre as right about this as you were about Waco.
Again.

In Texas you serve half before your first hearing. Then nobody hardly gets out first hearing.
Appeal? Nope there is nothing reversible here. In Texas you cannot reverse jury discretion. This follows the law, I am afraid.
"Even HERE, about the ONLY conversation we would be having is how many life sentences should HE serve."
"My main point being she is a SUPPOSED trained Police Officer who should be held to a higher standard than Joe Civilian.
Yeah.. Sorry, that should have been, "I Wouldn't get out of jail until the next century."
Your main point being, "She was a police officer and should be held to a higher standard." I'm saying, equal justice under the law applies to everyone, idiots, fools and even police officers.. Maybe.. :)
INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER IS NOT IN THE LINK!
No I did not dodge it. I told you that there is pretty much a consensus that white women are harmless. Unless you are in relationship with them.
If a black guy had some tangible reason why he thought he was in danger, then he could tell the jury.
Personally, I think he would fail even bigger then this chick did.
Manslaughter is you frigging dolt.

What’s with the silly ‘L’?
