If you do that, drive an old school Land Rover Defender with the four cylinder diesel that can run in cooking oil and be fixed by anyone with a modicum of mechanical ability even if they never saw it before. I have one rubbing inthe Negev that is from the early 1980 that was left by either the Syrians or the Eqyptians as they ran away. Had bullet holes in the fuel tank. I dont think Ive ever done anything to it but put oil and fuel.

90% of automobiles in rural Mongolia are UAZ or Toyota LC. Any LR is exotics.
